Terms of use
Effective 21 September 2026
This document is based on the Korean original.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the API for refining publicly available data and custom endpoints provided by ntriq.
2. Eligibility
Individual developers and businesses can sign up. Information required for a paid contract is confirmed at the contracting stage.
3. Billing
All paid use, including the basic API, begins with an inquiry. We first agree with you on the API to be supplied, the scope of use and the amount payable. You then pay the agreed amount presented by us on the contract and payment page. A fixed monthly fee is charged; billing is not based on the number of calls. The amount and payment method are set out in the individual contract.
4. Refunds and cancellation
The court-auction API trial key issued through this site is free and gives access only to data from one selected court for 7 days from the time the key is issued (UTC). If you do not select a court, Seoul Central District Court applies. Usage is limited to 200 calls per day and 1,000 calls per month; both limits apply. No payment method is collected, so the trial does not convert to a paid service automatically when it ends. The trial lets you check the data and response format. If you wish to use a paid service, please contact us first. Once we have agreed on the scope and price, you pay the amount we present.
For the Internal and Embedded plans, after your inquiry and our agreement on the scope and price, the monthly fee is charged to your registered card on the agreed billing date each month if you have agreed to recurring card payments. Listed prices exclude VAT. If we raise the monthly fee or convert free use to paid use, we will notify you of the date, the amounts before and after the change and the payment method at least 30 days in advance and ask for your consent. If you do not consent, you may cancel before the change takes effect. These refund and cancellation terms apply equally to individual and business customers. Conversion from free to paid use also requires an inquiry and agreement on the scope and price before payment.
To use a custom service, first contact us to agree on the scope and price, then pay the amount we present on the contract and payment page. Contracts are monthly; we do not currently offer annual commitments. The individual contract sets out the monthly fee and the scope and cost of setup and validation work. The paid validation fee replaces the initial setup fee under the main contract, so customers who complete paid validation first are not charged that setup fee again. The validation fee is not deducted from monthly service fees. This paragraph governs termination and settlement for custom services. Except where statutory withdrawal, non-performance or other applicable legal rules require a different refund or settlement, if you terminate for your own reasons, we settle the charges for services supplied up to termination and for the portions of the agreed setup and validation work actually performed, and refund the remaining prepaid amount attributable to services or work not supplied. If you terminate before setup work begins, the corresponding setup fee is refunded in full. We provide an itemized settlement and details of the services supplied or work performed, and do not charge both validation and setup fees for the same work. Rights of withdrawal, remedies for defects or non-performance, and refund deadlines under applicable law take precedence over these settlement rules. Individual contracts apply only to the extent that they do not restrict those statutory rights.
You may withdraw from a paid plan within 7 days of receiving the payment confirmation email. However, once the API key for that billing period has been used to call or download data in the paid scope, supply of digital content is deemed to have started and the right of withdrawal is restricted. For this reason, the trial plan lets you check the data before you pay. If what is supplied differs from what was advertised or agreed, you may withdraw within 3 months of supply or within 30 days of the day you knew or could have known of the difference.
You may cancel a fixed-fee plan at any time, and no further charges will be made from the next billing date. For the period already paid, we refund the amount remaining after deducting the fee for the days used up to the cancellation request and 10% of the fee for the remaining days. If the share of the monthly data allowance you received in that period is larger than the share of days used, the fee for use is calculated by data volume instead. If you cancel within 7 days of the billing date, the 10% is not deducted. Instead of a refund, you may choose to keep using the service until the end of the paid period.
If, for reasons attributable to us and without prior notice, the API is unavailable for 3 or more consecutive days or for more than 72 hours in total within a month, you may terminate the contract. In that case we refund the fees for the remaining period plus 10% of that amount. If the API is unavailable for 4 hours or more without prior notice, we extend your service period free of charge by three times the downtime. If we fail to supply the contracted data scope for reasons attributable to us, we refund the proportion not supplied. Force majeure such as natural disasters, discontinuation by source organizations and failures caused by the customer are not treated as reasons attributable to us. Prior notice means notice given at least 24 hours in advance.
Refunds are made by cancelling the approval on the card used for payment. We ask the card issuer to cancel the charge within 3 business days of the day the refund becomes due. When the cancellation appears on your card statement depends on the card issuer. If a card cancellation is not possible, we transfer the amount to an account in the customer's name within the same period. If a refund following withdrawal is delayed, we add late-payment interest at 15% per year for the period of delay.
To request a refund or cancellation, email support@ntriq.co.kr from the address you signed up with. The day you send the email counts as the request date. We confirm receipt within 1 business day.
5. License scope
Licenses differ by intended use. Each contract specifies the permitted scope of internal use, embedding in products and resale. Redistribution that is not expressly specified is not permitted.
6. Nature of source data
The values provided are the result of collecting and refining publicly available sources. Source organizations may discontinue access or change fields. In that case, we provide the last confirmed values together with the time they were confirmed.
7. Limits of responsibility
We do not guarantee the accuracy of the public information supplied by source organizations. Errors arising during collection and refinement are corrected as soon as they are confirmed and recorded in the history.
